The first step in your Invisalign treatment is an unhurried consultation in the downtown office of your dentist at the Sacramento Dentistry Group. Here you can have all of your questions answered about the value of treatment, the costs, using dental insurance to help pay for Invisalign and how it works.
After the patient agrees that the Invisalign system is for them, the dentist makes an impression of their teeth, or uses the iTero scanner to create a digital image of the teeth, gums and jaw. We also take pictures of your condition and examine the teeth and jawbones with x-rays. This information is then combined with Invisalign technology to create a digital 3D image of your mouth and a treatment plan. You will be able to see in advance how your teeth will appear at the end of the process and have a very good idea of the length of time required to complete your treatment.
